The Oldtime Jammers
A South Florida Bluegrass Jam Band
{
The Oldtime Jammers have been keeping old-time music alive for decades in the Pompano Beach area.
The jam was started around 1996 by Tom and Ellen Hogan (of the band Flying Turtles) at Bocaworks. When Tom and Ellen moved north, Debbie White and John Amon took over leadership and moved the jam to the Leisureville Community Center. Over the years we also called the Elks Lodge in Pompano Beach home for a long time, followed by a stay at The Atrium in Boca Raton.
We are now happily settled in at The Fiddlershop in Pompano Beach.
Every Thursday night, 7 to 9 PM
all old-time musicians are welcome to join us and jam along!
We are in the process of adding photos, song lists, audio recordings, and videos to the site.
